Amethyst Falls Wisteria

Wisteria frutescens

Our Amethyst Falls Wisteria is an enchanting selection of native Wisteria frutescens that features vivid 6- to 8-inch long lavender flower clusters that bloom throughout the growing season. It is a compact, shrubby, and moderately slow growing plant that can easily be trained to tree form, and is hardy in USDA Zones 5-9. Growth and flowering is best in full sun, but Amethyst Falls performs well in light shade as well. And, because Amethyst Falls flowers on the terminals of new growth, the plant avoids the late frost damage in the spring that is typical of Asian species of Wisteria.

If you dream of a garden that looks like something from a fairy tale, then Amethyst Falls Wisteria is the plant for you!
